We didn't plan any of this, really.

Daniel and I had just got married. We were both working jobs that paid the bills but didn't excite us. I'd started sketching in the evenings—just for myself—and Daniel began experimenting with leather. It was something we did together, a way to unwind.

Then friends started asking if they could buy what we were making. And then their friends. Before we knew it, our flat was full of fabric and half-finished bags, and we were staying up until midnight filling orders.

At some point we looked at each other and said, "What if we actually tried this properly?"

So we found a small shop in London. Tiny, honestly. But it was ours.

Those first years were hard. We made every mistake you can imagine. But people kept coming back—and that meant everything.

Thirty years on, I still remember the feeling of opening that door for the first time. I never imagined we'd still be here, doing what we love, surrounded by people who've become like family.

That's the truth of it. No grand plan. Just two people who took a chance.
